Final permits have been issued to Santa Rosa Board of County Commissioners for a 1 x 2 mile reef area 1 nautical mile off of Navarre Beach.

A copy of the permit can be viewed along with other permits and official reef related documents on our Plans & Documents page

Plans are also being discussed for a wide dune walkover  with a large wash down station accessible from the parking lot of the Gulf Side pavilion in Navarre Beach Marine Park.  The walkover and wash down station will accommodate dive, paddle board, kayak and similar equipment making access to and from the beach for such items easier and provide a location for fresh water wash down.

The medals for the run this year will again be hand crafted by Brenda Stokes of Holley Hill Pottery.  Don’t forget to register at or pick up your registration form locally and return it to the Navarre Visitor Information Center for the run on Saturday October 18th.

In addition to the always spectacular placement awards, we’ll be raffling off two great pieces of artwork by local artists Chuck Chunn and Jeffery Waldorff.  We also have  free scuba diving certifications from Dive Pros and  MBT Divers.
