The next Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary Committee meeting is Monday, Sept. 26th at 6:30PM at the Hampton Inn, Navarre.

Agenda Topics include, Permitting and Deployment Plan Update, Run for the Reef, Reef Sponsorship Program, and Community Awareness Events.

The Run for the Reef Race Shirts will also be unveiled.

Save money by registering now for the Run for the Reef 5K and Kid’s 1 Mile Fun Run.  Early registration for this year’s run ends on Monday September 19th.  You can still register up until race day but you save 5$ on the registration fee by registering before September 19th.

The Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary will have information about the sanctuary program and distribution for Run for the Reef registration forms on Juana’s deck for this weekend’s Regatta. Come out and enjoy the Regatta while picking up your entry form.

Returning Run for the Reef 5K  participants will recognize radio personality Aimee Shaffer of Quantum Broadcasting as the awards ceremony emcee and Islandtime Entertainment’s Tom and Jan Dearien.   They will again share the stage and microphones to entertain you and  to present this year’s awards on the newly expanded Navarre Beach Pier Deck.

Listen to Quantum Broadcasting Radio stations  (Wave 102.1, Mix 103.1, Highway 98.1, and Fly 92.1)  for our Run for the Reef  Public Service Announcements.    We’ll also be featured in their Spotlight on the Emerald Coast  at the end of September or beginning of October.
